China Study ![]() *Ignore the article suggestion of margarine as a source of vitamin E. Hydrogenated oils are one of the worst foods in the world--they are one molecule away from being plastic, and create havoc in living cells where they become sludge and kill the cell's electrical charge that draws vital oxygen into the cell. However, there are now at least a few margarines made without hydrogenated oils--"Smart Balance" and probably a few others.. My doctor advises taking supplements in the form of food products, or derived from food sources, not as manufactured and often synthetic vitamin and mineral pills. Colloidal liquid forms are different. Anecdotal information: There are stories in my family about great-uncle Floyd Lyons attending a church whose members cured themselves of cancer with carrot juice. (Beta Carotene) When I mentioned this to a co-worker whose sister had cancer, she told me an uncle of hers used to go camping with a medical doctor whose wife cured herself of breast cancer also with a carrot juice drink. Some sources mention adding celery and beet juice to the drink. I have found both powdered carrot and beet juice in certain heath food stores, although fresh raw vegetables are probably better. I would use this along with other healing modalities--not as a lone remedy. |
