Eshar with burned skin
I forgot to coat the surrounding skin with vaseline to protect it from corrosive drainage on this second time around. There was far more pus and fluids pulled from the lesion this time, and it soaked the bandaging and burned the surrounding skin which became raw and weepy. I treated it with cortisone cream, and added vaseline as advised in the instructions. This is the eschar with some light salve still coating the top.
